After 20+ years of providing an enriching play environment for the children of Oak Mountain Elementary School, the large playground has become unusable as of this school year. Recognizing the importance of unstructured play for physical, social and emotional development OMES and the Kiwanis Club of Indian Springs Village have committed to replacing the playground over the next three years. We plan to partner with those in the community to provide this inclusive and all-accessible, play space for the next 15+ years. The Kiwanis Club of Indian Springs Village is a 501(c)3 organization that seeks ti improve the lives of children in our community and throughout the world. Our fundraising goal for this project is $180,000 over three years.

Pancakes for Playgrounds- Feb 29th
We are looking for Community Partners to help SPONSOR this event. There are three sponsorship levels- PLATINUM ($1000+), GOLD ($500) & SILVER($250). Here is the SPONSORSHIP FORM to see what each level includes. We are grateful for our community partners and will be recognizing them at the event. Members- Please coordinate your donation requests with Jake Guercio. (Cell- 205-903-2365) We want to make sure that if someone has a connection with a business, they reach out. Though if you would rather Jake make the call on behalf of the club, he is more than willing to do so.
SILENT AUCTION REQUEST/DONATION FORM We will be holding a Silent Auction during the event that will end at 10:45AM. So far items up for bid are admission passes for the Birmingham Zoo, McWane Science Center, Barber Motor Sports Museum, Starbucks Gift Basket….and more to come.
